Southeastern shows all perimeter conditions, anchor locations, water barrier interfaces, etc. to leave no ambiguity. Shop drawing services are offered for windows, storefront, aluminum doors, curtainwall, window walls, glass handrails, all glass entrances, and all glass walls. Along with drafting, SDC can offer delegated design services with a PE stamp for all systems designed. We are licensed in over 40 states and territories including Hawaii.

When specifying the right product, providing detailed shop drawings and structural calculations for proof of concept, supplying the material is the last step to a successful project. SDC’s spec writing capabilities, in-house submittal process, keying and design meeting oversight, and procurement capabilities create a smooth design-to-completion process for building owners and general contractors. Southeastern Design brings the same attention to detail approach as if they were handling a complex commercial project (like a hospital for example) on all residential and multi-family projects they are engaged in. Some of the additional value-add services SDC brings to this scope of work include coordinating rough opening requirements with other trades, access control and keying coordination, and in-person representation during first deliveries and first installations. Renovation is a great way for schools or historical buildings to provide a facelift or breathe new life into a once landmark structure. Southeastern Design will perform site survey, provide viable options, set budgets for material and labor in the preconstruction phase. Once the project is approved, SDC will work with SHPO to get the windows (or other materials) approved as well as procure / assist in material order and full installation.
